you have no evidence in support of either of those statements. Unless you know the stories behind all three incidents and have proof that similar impacts would affect all non-forged wheels in the same way (which is one hell of a stretch), it's speculation. I've hit some pretty big pot holes (prior to having forged wheels) and I've know a lot of people who have done the same, and I've never seen a wheel break apart in that fashion.
